Today, we're taking you behind the scenes of our work to share the story behind the creation of our eco-friendly scarves. You'll discover how our ideas come to life, the choices we make, and why every detail is carefully considered. Let's embark on this journey together!
The Idea Behind the Scarves
In our graphic design studio, most of our projects come to life in digital format. However, we wanted to give people the opportunity to experience our creations physically. That's why we decided to create something tangible and wearable, reflecting our work and passion, while also caring for the environment.
Choosing the Right Material
One of the key aspects of creating our scarves was choosing the right material. We conducted extensive research to find a material that was both eco-friendly and high-quality. After evaluating the environmental impact of common materials like cotton and silk, we opted for recycled twill.
The recycled Bermondsey twill, made from 51% recycled polyester and 49% polyester, allowed us to create a quality product without compromising our commitment to the environment.
Mindful Materials:
Your scarf is made with 51% recycled polyester to reduce our reliance on new resources. While it may not seem obvious, this fabric saves water compared to natural fibers, and it's more durable and easy to care for a conscious choice for lasting style.
Sustainable Packaging
Once we chose the material, we faced another question: how do we ship our scarves while staying true to our goal of respecting the environment? The solution was simple: we minimized the packaging, using recyclable tissue paper and a cardboard box printed with a single color, easily recyclable.
Less Packaging & Zero Plastic:
We minimize packaging and eliminate plastic, opting for paper or recycled paper whenever possible.
Terence: Our Greyhound
The subject of our scarves is a very special dog: our greyhound, Terence. Adopted from Spain, Terence has shown us the resilience and adaptability of greyhounds. Despite initial difficulties, he quickly settled into his new home and family, as if he had always been with us.
We decided to dedicate our first creations to him and his breed, paying tribute to their ability to face changes with courage, despite their past of exploitation and mistreatment.
Elegant and Smart
With his graceful presence and soulful eyes, he is more than just a pet: he is the inspiration behind this fantastic scarf project. His special look and grace have led to a collection that expresses his spirit, making his charm part of every design.
